Megan I think is "trained". Rather than "educated". In some technical capacity. Broadening and depth along thelines of a liberal arts path would help. She is naive. Still very young , her handlers have the upper hand. And control the narrative.

Think of giant sloths , tortoises,dung Beatles ....they keep their options open but exist on a set level imagination has little to do with the lifestyle .
